14 Modules

Week 1 - Fundamental Feelings

To start you off you get to go through the ‘4 steps to help your child manage their Big emotions’ 5-day mini-course.

A great review of the foundation skills you'll keep coming back to.

Find a space on page one of your workbook & write down what your goal is for this 12 weeks!

Week 3 - Fundamental Feelings - Your Love languages

This week continues on the theme of Love. Using the 5 ways that we experience love, work out what your preferred way is.

Ideally your partner can focus on topping up your love tank and you can focus on theirs.

If you don't have a partner, focus on topping up your own love tank.

What feels nice?

How can you care for you this week with kind words, loving touch, asking for help etc ?

The beauty of understanding what you and your partner need to feel loved, is you can more easily meet that need, helping nurture those pleasurable feelings. When we feel filled up with love, it's easier to navigate the challenges of parenting.

Your tasks this week are:

  • Find out what your partners dominant love language is.
  • To top up their love tank, or yours if you don't have a partner with that dominant love language.
  • Share how you get on in the Facebook group.

Week 5 - Caring Cooperation - 5 Ways to Be Playful

This week we look at the 5 ways to Be Playful 🤩

Watch the video to get a sense of how you could use these skills.
How can you be more relaxed this week & more playful?

Ask your self the question, does it matter?
What's my aim?
How can I make this fun.

Week 6 - Caring Cooperation - Solution Finding

This week we are exploring ways of dealing with conflict, and persistent or long term challenges. You will learn different ways of using the solution finding technique.

I'll take you through them in the 3 videos.

The structure is so versatile and works in so many different ways. Once you get the structure in your head you're away!

Your tasks this week are:

  • Try out the solution finding structure
  • Bring an ongoing challenge to the group coaching session to try out with a partner
  • Share how you get on in the facebook group.

Try out using the structure on something fun like working out how to spend some quality time for the first try.

As you grow in confidence, try using it in different ways from the in the moment version to at a calmer time.

Enjoy exploring the skills over the next few days, share how it’s going in the Facebook group.

Week 7 - Dynamic Discipline

You will learn 5 skills to help you have alternatives to time outs & punishment, so you can express strong disapproval & at the same time encourage responsible behaviour.

The beauty of having skills for replacing timeouts and punishment is we can avoid the negative impact and help our children develop a positive blueprint for the future.

Your tasks this week are:

  • Try out the alternative to punishment skill.
  • Share how you get on in the facebook group.
  • Bring a power question to the coaching call

If you have more than one child start with the one who is currently the most challenging.

Enjoy exploring the skills over the next few days, share how it’s going in the Facebook group.

Week 8 - Review & Consolidation

This week is an opportunity to review and consolidate the skills you have learnt so far.

The beauty of understanding what your child needs to feel loved, is you can more easily meet that need, helping nurture those pleasurable feelings. When our children feel filled up with love the less desirable behaviour reduces.

Your tasks this week are:

  • Review the skills you have learned so far
  • Choose which skills you will focus on this week that will have the biggest impact on that one thing you want to change right now.
  • Practice using this 1 or 2 skills to gain more fluency with it/them.

If you have more than one child start with the one who is currently the most challenging.

Week 9 - Terrific Trust - Independence & Resilience

This week we are helping our children with ways they have be independent and learn from their own mistakes.

You will learn 6 skills that support their autonomy, and different ways you can avoid saying "No".

Useful skills for avoiding escalation with children who particularly react to the word No.

Week 11 - Productive Praise

In this session you will learn how to praise your child in a way that encourages them to praise themselves.

It boosts self esteem & helps them to be more intrinsically motivated rather that seeking approval from outside of themselves.

They build confidence in who they are & their capabilities, & you become confident in reaching your child with your positive words. It links really well with words of affirmation part of the love languages.

Week 12 - Legacy Life

This session is all about reviewing your journey & getting clear on your next steps.
